Guild Lectures

Each year the Guild holds a series of lectures on topics relating to the Guild’s interest in psychology and spirituality. The lectures are given by speakers with international eminence in their field and are of wide interest.

Apart from Carl Jung himself, distinguished past speakers include, Gerhard Adler, Victor White, Barbara Hannah, Vera von der Heydt, Irene de Castillejo, James Hillman, Joe Henderson, Rt Rev Rowan Williams, David Holt, Renos Papadopoulos, Rt Rev Dr Nazir Ali, Mario Jacoby, Molly Tuby, Rabbi Lionel Blue, Fr William Johnston SJ, Sir Laurens van der Post, Dr Anne Maguire, Una Kroll, Wolfgang Giegerich, Anthony Stevens, Dr Guggenbuhl-Craig, Fr Gerard Hughes, Dr John Granrose, Christopher Hauke, Susan Rowland, Lyn Phillips, Robert Segal, George Szirtes, Dr Murray Cox, Julian David, Ian Baker, Brendan Callaghan SJ, Karen Armstrong and Peter Ammann, to name but a few.

All lectures are open to the general public for a small entry fee. Visitors are welcome to have a glass of wine with Members who take the opportunity, after lectures, to meet one another, to browse the  Library and to purchase Guild Papers and Recordings.
