John Pickering’s background is in experimental psychology. He now works in the Psychology Department of the University of Warwick. John has worked in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and China and is particularly interested in the comparison of Western psychology with Buddhism. His objective is to create a post-modern synthesis of new meaning from different cultural traditions, which given the rapid expansion of global communications he considers particularly appropriate.
