Kusum Dhar Prabhu is a Kashmiri Jungian analyst and a graduate of the CG Jung Institut Kusnacht, as well as a somatic experiencing and family constellation practitioner. She is a member of AGAP and the IAAP.

In 1994  she founded the Jung Centre in Bagnalore which from 2004 offered a two year foudation programme, drawing on workshops and presentations by international Jungians.

She is currently in private practice in Bangalore.

Her psyche has deep roots in her Kashmiri ancestry: the landscape, the rituals, the tradition of female mysticism and the creative synthesis of Kashmiri Shaivism, Buddhism and Islam. She describes herself as a classical Jungian, anchored in the natural world, with specific mentoring from Marie Louise von Franz, Gotthilf and Hannelore Isler.
